The main objective of the Scientific project is to unify several approaches for modelling ordinal data by exploiting a disseminated competence in alternative methodologies and performing an international experience on well documented data sets of real importance in different fields.
Thus, the project would improve the decisional process by adding a more consistent and flexible approach to the current state-of-the-art.
During the first six months we first collected the main references on the principal methodological and applied fields of interest, then we planned to organize some workshops and seminars.
We also started the synoptic table of the existing methods and, hopefully, new ones in terms of availability, similarity, differences and suggestions for implementing them in the real life experience.
